Delete your account

You can permanently delete your TruCult account and its associated data at any time. This page explains how to do it and exactly what is removed.

Delete from the app (fastest)

In the TruCult app, go to Settings → Delete account and confirm. Deletion begins immediately and cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in to the app, email assist@trucult.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your account and login credentials.
• Your profile — username, display name, bio, photo, country, and interests.
• Any cults you own, and their channels.
• Your posts, channel and direct messages, images, voice notes, and TruTrack trade records.
• Your follow/membership relationships and reports you filed.

What we may keep

We remove or anonymize your personal data on deletion, except limited records we are legally required to retain for tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (for example, records of completed payments). These are kept only as long as the law requires and are not used to re-identify you. Direct-message media is purged automatically on a rolling basis.
